Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms," "Terms of Service") carefully before using the AlertRadar website and services (the "Service") operated by AlertRadar ("us," "we," or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Description of Service

AlertRadar is a domain monitoring and visibility protection platform that provides:

Domain availability monitoring from multiple geographic locations
SSL certificate expiration tracking
Domain registration expiration alerts
Blocklist monitoring across major registries
Content change detection
Multi-channel alert notifications (Email, Slack, Telegram, Discord, Webhooks)

2. Accounts

2.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your password and account
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

2.2 Account Types

We offer two types of accounts:

Individual Accounts: For personal use by a single user
Business Accounts: For organizations with team collaboration features

2.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:

Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Non-payment of fees
Extended periods of inactivity

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Subscription Plans

The Service offers various subscription plans with different features and limits. Details of each plan are available on our pricing page.

3.2 Free Plan

We offer a free plan with limited features. Free plan users are subject to the same Terms as paid subscribers.

3.3 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms
We may change our fees upon 30 days' notice
You are responsible for all applicable taxes

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods
Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, after which it may be deleted

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service only to monitor domains that you own or have explicit authorization to monitor.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service to monitor domains without authorization
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Use the Service to conduct any form of attack or harassment
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Circumvent any rate limits or usage restrictions
Use automated means to access the Service beyond our API
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4.3 API Usage

If you use our API, you agree to:

Comply with our API documentation and rate limits
Keep your API credentials secure
Not share API access with unauthorized parties

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of AlertRadar and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 Service Availability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

7.2 Monitoring Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate monitoring data, we do not guarantee:

100% accuracy of availability checks
Detection of all blocklist entries
Immediate notification of all issues
Accuracy of third-party data (WHOIS, SSL certificates, etc.)

7.3 No Warranty

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AlertRadar, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers
Any damages resulting from interruption or cessation of the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AlertRadar and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content you submit to the Service

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by:

Posting the updated Terms on our website
Updating the "Last Updated" date
Sending email notification for material changes

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AlertRadar is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

Good faith negotiation between the parties
Mediation, if negotiation fails
Binding arbitration, if mediation fails

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AlertRadar regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
